A local East Tennessee artist has created highly detailed, life-size dinosaurs that bring the prehistoric era to life. In 2007, Chris Kastner, the creator and owner of the Backyard Terrors and Dinosaur Park started this quest with a single dinosaur sculpture.
The backyard wonder's proprietor and dino inventor designed the park to teach and delight youngsters of all ages. Later, the team made and put together a ton of items for all themes, including dinosaurs, aliens, pirates, and monsters. They specialize in set design and may create a whole exhibition or simply one special item.
They also handle a few rentals. The Funhouse Haunted Attraction, Myths, Monsters, and Legends, and the Dinosaur Park are additional non-profit free admission attractions run by Backyard Terrors. These days, his inventions in Tennessee's Sullivan County occupy acres of space. More than 80 life-sized dinosaurs can be seen at Kastner's backyard exhibit, which is open to the public without charge.

Attend Backyard Terrors And Dinosaur Park Events
Visitors can choose between two events that are organized in the park. The first one is Dino Park in the Dark: Visitors shall be brave and bring their flashlights. The electricity is down, and dinosaurs are escaping! At Backyard Terrors Dinosaur Park, a volcanic eruption has the dinosaurs on edge after hours. Visitors will sneak around the park at night to unravel the mystery of the dinosaurs. They will hear the T-Rex roar through the trees as the sirens ring an alert. They will also watch as park staff tries to capture dinosaurs that have escaped!

The second event is Monsters Myths and Legends. Visitors will enter The Collection, where the park’s intrepid Professor has gathered animals from their wondrous past and present, and take a trip into the fantastical worlds of fiction! Dragons, werewolves, and unicorns have been replaced by more modern animals like Bigfoot, The Beast of Bray Road, and giant spiders. Additionally, visitors might run into the renowned Sleepy Hollow spook! There is no age restriction for this exhibit.
